Sarah trained at Spectrum Dance as a full-time student where she learnt from some of the best choreographers in Australia. These include Yvette Lee, Turunga Merito, Trish Squire Rogers, Kim Adam plus many more, as well as from international guest teachers from the US.

She has performed at various events at crown casino, on the AFL footy show, children shows as well as many other credits to her name. Sarah also assisted in the choreography for New Zealands carols by candlelight and recently just spent 17days in Los Angeles learning from the top choreographers in the industry including Tricia Miranda, Wildabeast, Yanis Marshall, Nika Kljun, Matt Steffanina and more.

With such a wide knowledge of the dance industry, GDA's aim is to bring the latest and most up to date dance styles and trends, as well as providing fun and fitness to everyone in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.

With 14years of teaching experience Sarah loves to share her passion for dance with all ages and abilities as well as creating a studio that students and families can call home.

Classes are available for all ages (2yr olds to adults) and styles offered include Hip Hop, Lyrical, Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre, acrobatics and Singing as well as dance privates.

Amy Phillips has a strong passion for dance and gymnastics and wouldn’t know life without it.

Since she can remember she has trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and Hip Hop, and always loves to be on the stage with many performances, dance festivals and annual showcases over the years.

Amy has been teaching acrobatics/gymnastics since the age of 14 and is a much-loved teacher here at GDA as well as a valued member of the senior classes.

When asked what Amy loves most about teaching-

“The relationship formed between student and teacher, being a role model and watching them grow not only as a dancer but people is something truly special. I get to pass on all this knowledge that has been given to me and that means I have the best job in the world”
